Hi there everyone!!!

Previous night i somehow managed to sleep early coz my mom was shouting over me since many days for i was sleepin in day time and not at nite. Anyways, i slept early on 16th and got up early the next morning. As i got up early morning after a long long long time, i felt different. I saw the golden morning sunlight entering my room, i heard the birds singing song, i had breakfast… and so on. I felt the day would really go well. I took a decision to sleep early and get up early everyday.

I decided to finish off some of my undone work in the daytime. I had to go to two different banks, and also to a mobile service centre. I’ve got an account in Bank of Baroda… and according to their rules, if i dont login into their internet banking portal in 90 days, my password will get expire… and so it did happen with me. I had to visit my bank branch to get a new password. And i also had to go to another bank to deposit some money in one of my friend’s account. My latest mobile is having some problem with the charging/usb connecter. So had to go to one of the sony ericsson’s service centre also.

bird1 Recently I completed my undergraduate studies and enjoying my free time. For those of you who don’t know, let me tell you that I had real hard time completing my studies. Its not bcoz i dont study or am poor in my work and all. For some reason, I had a very bad luck in the phaze of life called “literacy”. I won’t term it as ‘education’…. coz even in this bad luck i learned alot which will surely help in my future life.

After completing my higher secondary classes, i decided to follow my decision rather than my parents and my family’s. I left my hometown for higher studies and joined a elite university in a place where i never wanted to go. But i went there coz that was the only university which was offering my kind of course. Not to mention i made marvelous friends there and i was really really good in studies there. Infact, i even came 3rd in my college (national level) once. But time had its own decision. The Supreme Court ordered the university to shut down fr some lengthy reason i cannot mention here.

03/07: Kind of nice and relaxing day, after a long time

Well, I am posting my daily diary thing after a long long time. Yesterday was really a nice day. I mean after a long time i felt a bit relaxed. May be bcoz i traveled a bit and so i felt refreshed. As usual, i got up late yesterday coz i slept late the previous nite.

I was sleepin till afternoon untill one of friend ‘Shannon’ called me up over the phone and asked me to get ready for some outing. But i was not in a mood and told him that i dont wanna come. But after half an hour he just dropped in to my place, woke me up by calling me repeatedly. Finally somehow i got ready in a hush-bush manner and got out with him.

Actually it rained in the morning and bcoz of no breeze, the climate had bcom too humid. And for that reason shannon had left his factory and was totally free and bored. And so he decided to target his innocent friends like me to spend time with. Later we went to wincy’s place to pick robin n wincy. Actually shannon took me their by force. But they were unavailable and then we both went and had some food from a small eatery outlet from alkapuri.

Good sense of humour

We have five basic senses, eyes, smell, touch, hearing and taste. But people also speak of a “sense of humour”, “sense of self”, etc — there’s countless “senses” if i keep mentioning the list. And so i got a topic to write something new here on my blog. I wanna talk about ’sense of humour’ today.

When you say that so-and-so person has a good sense of humour, what you actually mean is “Their sense of humour agrees with mine — they laugh at the things I find funny” and not that “he understands all the jokes of the world”. So in this respect a ‘GSOH’ isn’t so different from good eyesight — it’s a question of perceiving it right about things you think that is right. I hope you understanding my language.

But it isn’t just about perceiving. ‘GSOH’ could have plenty of other things implied with it– that the person can tell jokes as well as recognize them, that they have an appreciation of quality jokes, that they laugh frequently, that they’re optimistic, that they don’t take themselves or life too seriously, that they can be the centre of a joke without getting offended, and so on and on and on.

Many of my friends have been asking me questions regarding Twitter.com. It’s hard to explain each and everyone the same things repeatedly again and again. So i thought i’ll write down something here and let everyone read about it. To know what twitter is and why it is so famous, please google about it. The things i’ve posted below are the tips and tricks you can use twitter for various other functions.

Q: I am a blogger and want to cross-post articles from my blog into Twitter?

A: Go to FeedBlitz, type the address of the feed in the Subscribe box and choose Twitter from the subscription options. The other option is Twitter Feed but that requires you to have an OpenID.

Q: I know that TwitPic allows me to post pictures on Twitter but I want to use my existing Flick account with Twitter.

A: Go to TwitterGram and associate your Flickr name with your Twitter account. Now assign a special tag (say Twitter) and any picture that you post on Flickr with that Tag will automatically get posted in your Twitter account as well.

Q: I just ordered a laptop on eBay and the owner shipped it via UPS. I want to track this package on Twitter.

Teens, Sex and Technology

tenn-tech In a new nationwide survey of 1,280 teens and young adults, researchers found that one in five teens are using technology to do what else? Send sexually explicit pictures of themselves to others — either posted online or sent via cell phone. One in five teens and one-third of young adults had said they had send a nude or semi-nude image of themselves to others.

It doesn’t really get any better…

The survey found that nearly half of all teens have received a sexually suggestive message via email, text or IM, and that nearly 40 percent of teens have sent such a message. Most young adults have sent one (59 percent) or received one (64 percent). Of course most survey respondents say they are sending this stuff to their boyfriend or girlfriend, but some of them (around 15 percent) have posted this sort of thing for an online friend.
