Lost.

lost in my thoughts.

Confused.

confused about my desires.

Selfish.

Selfish for what I want.

Lonely.

lonely in this world.

We all want to be heard,

But no one wants to listen.

We all want respect,

But don’t want to respect others.

We all want to be loved,

But don’t want to love.

Evan Williams and Biz Stone: Founders of Twitter

The one thing you can say for certain about Twitter is that it makes a terrible first impression. You hear about this new service that lets you send 140-character updates to your “followers,” and you think, Why does the world need this, exactly? It’s not as if we were all sitting around four years ago scratching our heads and saying, “If only there were a technology that would allow me to send a message to my 50 friends, alerting them in real time about my choice of breakfast cereal.”

I, too, was skeptical at first. Evan Williams was Twitter’s co-creator. Back then, what people worried about was the threat that blogging posed to our attention span, with telegraphic, two-paragraph blog posts replacing long-format articles and books. With Twitter, Williams was launching a communications platform that limited you to a couple of sentences at most. What was next? Software that let you send a single punctuation mark to describe your mood?

Honestly speaking, there are lots of articles available on the net which gives out information regarding how to make cocaine. But the thing is that none of them are accurate. If they had given out proper information then there would have been many local people manufacturing cocaine at their place rather than buying it from trafficking people at a high cost.

I did kind of a small search and rescue thing over the google with proper search strings and got some interesting piece of infos. I just compiled it in a proper way and providing here for your gowth of knowledge. There are two videos in it. Let me tell you first that by providing this post I don’t intend to promote or encourage any kind of manufacturing, trafficking or consuming of any kind of harmful drugs. I just want to share the knowledge and want to show the dangerous things used in this and directly giving out the message that how dangerous it will be for this toxic material to go inside your body.

Poem: “Please Joel”

As soft winds sweep away the days4
I look back on life through a haze.
Remembering the playgrounds, parks and friends,
In childlike gaze that never ends.
The laughter in a game of cricket match,
Will remain the memory ever attach…
To innocence in youthful eyes,
Catching the ball to his surprise.

I recall my first cycle, and first wreck,
Who picked me up, said, “What the heck?”
He convinced me to give one more try,
While knees skinned, I forgot to cry.
With just the joy knowing he was there,
Making him proud was my only care.

Fox Searchlight has provided with some deleted scenes from Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire to promote the UK DVD release on June 1st 2009. The scene, which can be viewed after the jump, features Prem Kumar (Anil Kapoor), host of the Indian version of Who Wants To Be a Millionaire, visiting the police station where Jamel (Dev Patel) is being interrogated.

Mr India (Anil Kapoor) looks badass. Where was Anil Kappoor in the final sing along, he got some great moves too.
Too bad all the bollywood actors had short roles. I grew up watching Anil Kapoor movies. Irfan Khan left me misteyed after watching the Namesake (bollywood movie). And once you’ve seen Satya( the equivalent of Scarface in India) you can never look at that Fat Constable the same way

For those of you who don’t know, I take the bus pretty much everywhere I go. In Mumbai, buses is kind of the cheapest mode of transportation. Am a student and i do need to conserve money so that i can spend it somewhere else. Meaning, I spend a lot of my time with sweaty, smelly, intoxicated, old, interesting and otherwise weird  people, but I’m not going to talk about that. I am however going to talk about a certain incident on a bus ride to college someday, that i remembered now, that really opened my eyes to the way I view the world and the kind of person I am.

Being Speechless

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about one of life’s little mysteries. Why is it the less you talk to someone the less you have to talk about? This also seems to be true for friends, family members, co-workers pretty much everyone I have in my life. I feel that it’s the day-to-day interactions that bring people together, without these we seem to have superficial conversations. This isn’t to say that the love and care doesn’t exist, however, often times the commonalities in life that are often the topic of conversation seem to be what’s missing .

Microsoft has released a short promotional video for Bing.com that sort of makes fun of Google Search. This is what they are saying…

“Ever had trouble finding information online using a search engine? When what you thought was a simple search at first quickly spiraled out of control, leaving you buried in irrelevant and hard to find information? Don’t worry, searchers – we feel your pain.”
